Starting to figure this out a bit. Hello adina and hello mcarls.

I kept hearing the ding and couldn't figure out where to look. Now I think I am cooking.

I turn the ding off or the sound down to avoid it

I do turn it off as well, otherwise I can't get Alan Jackson on Pandora well. It is nice here, but not as big of a circle...yet...

Just do what you would do in any other PLN setting. Nice thing here is being able to easily follow the conversation thread.

Takes a while to get used to, but can be very useful. I also like being able to bookmark a whole convo for later reference (Plurk page)

trust me the last thing I am worried about is karma

Welcome! Don't worry about the karma...I believe that the more you ignore the karma the more it rises! Don't allow yourself to look.
