peering over the edge of the boat wearing her bikini. Her hair fell over the face as she tried to see fish in the water as she climbed up

jumped in surprise, clutching the railing tightly as she glowered at him. Her heart pounded loudly; was he trying to make her jump off?

just wanted to make sure she wouldn't fall. "Hei."

continued to glare at him as she stood up straight and folded her arms. "Hei."

"Who is your roommate?"

"France. They're very… *friendly*." She smirked, not bothering to say that it was her France and not his. She turned and started walking

away while brushing her hair behind her shoulders.

frowns and follows her. "Trade roommates. Anya can stay with them and you can stay with me."

"Why? Maybe I like having France as a roommate." She shrugged. "It could make every night an adventure, and I doubt they'd mind if I crawled

in bed with them."

narrows his eyes. "You had better not."

"Why not? Sleeping alone is boring, and I think our heater is broken."

"Then you can sleep in my bed. Our heater isn't broken."

"Body heat works better."

"What? I don't have body heat?"

flushed a bit but tried to hide it. "You want to sleep together?… With Anya in the room?"

shrugs. "I don't think she'd mind."

"What if I prefer to sleep naked?" Not that she did… most of the time…

"Then you are definitely not staying with France and I will lend you a pair of my pajamas."

"France wouldn't mind if I wanted to sleep naked." She scoffed.

"But I would mind if you slept around France naked."

"Why? I'm sure they wouldn't do anything *bad*. If anything, she'd probably sleep naked with me; which means more body heat."

twitches. "No. You are staying with me. That's final."

"I don't think we're allowed to change roommates." She frowned. Did he not trust her with France? France was one of the least intimidating

nations there were.

wouldn't trust her with anyone. "I don't think anyone would notice."

huffs in frustration. "If you make me stay with you, I will pull your curl constantly." Maybe that would work to dissuade him.

covers his curl. "I don't think you will."

frowns darkly. "I don't understand why you can't trust me around other nations."

looks away. "I can." He can't.

doesn't believe him and stalks away. If he had just said he wanted her to stay with him she probably would have agreed happily, but he only

wanted it so that she wasn't around anyone else!

actually did want her to stay with him and not just because of France. He follows her.

ignores him and finds a nice chair to sun bathe in.

lays on her stomach and unties the back of her bikini while brushing her hair over one shoulder so that her back is exposed. She'd,

thankfully, remembered to put lotion on before leaving her room, and was determined to ignore him.

really wants to go over there and throw a towel over her but settles for just making sure no one came near here.

doesn't understand the big deal; She showers naked in public all the time. A little nudity in public never hurt anyone.

wouldn't mind if it wasn't his sister.

would be more appreciative of him being overprotective if he stopped having any friends other than her. It's not very fair.

"Where's your brother?" She asked him, turning her head to face him.

frowns slightly and shrugs.

"Aren't you worried about him?"

nods. He was really worried about him since it had been a long time since he'd last seen him.

"Why aren't you looking for him, then?"

"I haven't seen him in a while."

"Isn't he on the cruise, too?" It wasn't like he could hide very many places on a boat.

shrugs. "I saw his name on the list, but I don't know..."

"You must trust him more than me." She laughed darkly.

frowns. He didn't trust either, really. "I just don't want to seem overbearing."

... failed to see his logic there. "So you're overbearing to me instead?"

glances over at her. "I'm not be overbearing."

glances away. "Because... I would rather share with you."

"Why?"

"Because you're my sister."

"What if I wanted to bring someone back to my room at night?" She asked him curiously. Not that she had plans on doing that, but what if she

stares off the boat, barely keeping composed. "Who?"

shrugged. "Doesn't matter."

sighs. He really didn't want to answer this. "You'd do whatever you want to regardless of what I say."

turned her head to face the opposite direction and rested her hands under her cheeks. "I…" She started, but stopped and sighed to herself.

glances over. "You?"

"Nothing." She mumbled.

raises an eyebrow. "You can tell me."

"It's nothing worth telling." She said, brushing her hair over her face and burying it in the pillow… to protect it from the sun, not to

hide the blush on her cheeks.

shakes his head. "Nei, I'm sure it is."

shook her head firmly but said nothing.

reaches over to poke her arm. "Tell me."

sighed and shook her head. Part of her *really* wanted to stay with him… a lot. But she wasn't going to give in to it. "I like the sun."

stares at her. "I know that isn't what you were going to say."

shrugged. "But it's true. I enjoy the heat a lot."

just keeps staring. "Sure."

"Marianne seems like a nice roommate."

frowns deeply. "And I don't?"

"I'm sure you're an amazing roommate." She'd much prefer sharing a room with him… but she was trying very hard to be mature, and not cling,

so she had to keep reminding herself that he didn't trust her at all to keep herself from giving in.

trusted her..... a little. "So why don't you want to room with me?"

shrugged, not wanting to admit that she still felt a little awkward around him and was afraid that she'd end up hurting herself by getting

too attached.

perhaps was already too attached to her. "You can tell me."

"I… don't want to be… too clingy." She said quietly. She didn't like being angry and jealous.

frowns a little. "You aren't clingy..."

scoffed. She was the epitome of clingy towards him and she hated it.

didn't even notice it that much. "You really aren't."

didn't say anything else, trying to enjoy the sun and not get herself worked up over it.

sighs and looks out at the sky.

reached back and started tying her bathing suit back on. "I have to use the bathroom." She sat up and looked over the deck.

nods, glancing over at her.

stood up and stretched, trying to remember where the bathrooms were. She mostly wanted an escape since she felt more awkward with each

passing second.

didn't know she was going to try to get away so slowly sits back in his chair and stares over the railing.

sighs quietly to herself before walking away to find the bathroom. She did have to go, so it wasn't like she was lying.

hums a little to himself. It was disconcerting not having Denmark or Iceland following him constantly.

relieved to find that the bathroom had a second exit somewhere else. She felt guilty ditching him, but it was best for both of them… She

would have ended up losing her temper with him, and she was trying very hard to be reasonable, and mature so that he would take her

seriously.
