pokes his head into Marianne's room. [Because this totally needed to be done XP]
continues reading, she was absorbed in reading an article about growing bigger boobs.
catches the title of what Marianne is reading and flushes a little bit. "Maman! Are you really reading an article about... that?" Oh crap,
he probably should have gone with a more traditional greeting. But it's maman... she shouldn't mind, right? But really!
turns to the door when she hears Tristan's voice. "Ah, Tristan~ Bonjour!" She giggles when she realises what he asked. "D'accord~ It is... _
good to read widely, oui?"
replies, "Bonzour maman!" He can't help but roll his eyes at Marianne's giggles.Of course she would reply in such a fashion! "I think maman
no reason to read such articles," he retorts. Although his face may now even be a bit more red at the implication.
grins at the compliment and gets up to kiss his red cheeks in greeting. "Ah, I knew I raised mon fils well! Such a sweet tongue on you~" She
hugs him before asking, "What brings you here today?"
turns even more red at the kiss, but dutifully kisses Marianne's back on the cheeks. It's the European way to greet people after all.
He turns his head away at the compliment. "It's ... nothing," he stammers. But he accepts the hug. "Well, I felt like visiting you..."
He pauses. "Did you hear about the two dimensions colliding?" He's only met England so far, but he supposes he should bring it up with Mari.
blinks, wondering why he'd brought up this topic. "Of course~ I'm not that out of the loop. Why? Have they finally found a way for us to_
return?" She looks up at him with hope in her eyes.
starting to feel bad he didn't notice sooner. He shakes his head, "Non, I have not heard of such a way yet. I suppose that would be a task
for the more magically inclined nations. Or perhaps the more creatively scientific geniuses." He pauses, "Although I have yet to meet my own
counterpart yet. I'd like to meet her first before we return to our dimension..."
sighs, that was a pity. She smiles though, she was curious about her own counterpart then too. "I have not seen her either, though I have...
/met/ my counterpart. Perhaps she will appear to visit you someday?"
raises an eyebrow at that. "Oh really? What is he like? I've already met England. He was ah... uh... interesting." They had gotten along for
a while, until it turned into an argument. But really he shouldn't be surprised. "Too bad you haven't met mine yet... apparently I'm
just like her. In England's words." Tristan wonders if the fish speak to her too- it would be nice to have another fish buddy!
chuckles, "He was... lovely. We had some fun times together~ Ah, I've met Angleterre as well. He was quite the gentleman. You could learn a_
thing or two from him, cher~" She winks to show that she's only kidding.
