looks up at Lithuania with a tear stained face and sniffles. "I-I wanted to talk to him...about you." He admits quietly. "Did you...Liet,

did you and Russia, like...were you together?" He asks, sounding heartbroken.

isn't quite sure how he should interpret that., so he goes with obvious facts. "I lived with him. But....you know that."

shakes his head. "Nie, nie, I mean...h-he said you were, like...TOGETHER. Like, having sex and junk, y'know? That he was, like...THERE for

you..."

his stomach sink. So that rumor did exist... "No, we didn't." A thought occurs to him, and suddenly he has to know. "Who told you that?"

"T-that's what he said happened!" He says tearfully, still crying and hugging his knees.

goes cold. Russia was saying those things? That was...horribly unsettling. "W-why would he say that...?" he says more to himself than

to Poland.

his expression crumble further. "I-is it true, then?"

shakes his head. "N-no! It's not true!" Just contemplating the idea brings tears to his eyes.

immediately lunges for Lithuania again, and clings tightly to him, sobbing again. "I-I'm glad...I was, like....so afraid that..."

wraps himself around Poland tightly. "It's okay. It never happened, so it's okay...." And he'll keep telling himself that, too.

just sits there and holds him for a long moment before responding. "Liet...what did happen...when you were, like...with him?"

had hoped he wasn't going to ask. He sighs. "I think...he wanted something. But I...I couldn't! He's too...I just...." He trails off, unable

to put his thoughts into coherent words.

hugs him tighter and shakes his head. "Nie, I mean...i-it's Ruski, and he's a mean jerkface, so...did he ever, like...do anything...really

bad...to you?" His tone is unusually serious.

shakes his head. "No...n-nothing physical. But...ah, it's Rusija." He sighs and leans more heavily against Poland. "He...he says things."

shifts so that he is almost holding Lithuania in his lap and gives him a light squeeze of encouragment. "Aj...what sort of things?"

takes a deep breath and exhales slowly. "Little things, compliments." He closes his eyes and thinks back. "'Litva, you are too kind.'

'Litva, you cook so well.' 'Litva, that outfit looks good.' Things...like that."

unintentionally tightens his grip. "He...he, like, said that to you?" He asks, unable to keep the jealously out of his voice.

just nods. He said other things too, but they were all along the same line, so there's no sense in mentioning each one.

cuddles Lithuania more and frowns. "That's, like....totally why I went to talk to him, y'know." He says conversationally, running his

fingers through Lithuania's hair (to get out unfashionable tangles, of course).

leans into the touch. "You don't have to do that though..."

"I, like, had to, though. He's, like, such a jerk, and he thinks he can, like...have you for himself and junk."

frowns. "I've already made up my mind though. I'm here, so...so you don't have to fight with him."

continues to stroke Lithuania's hair even as his expression falls into a frown. "Tak, but he, like, totally...IjustthoughthetookVilnius.."

him a serious look. "You took Vilnius too. And I don't remember anything like that happening." In fact, he was pretty angry about that...

his usual pout, but there's a slightly ashamed cast to it that isn't usually there as he finds himself unable to look Lithuania in the eye.

"T-tak, but that was...I, like, totally just wanted to be the one to...h-hold your heart..." He says, his voice quiet.

sighs. He hadn't meant to make him feel bad; he just wanted to show how he was making assumptions. "I know...but isn't it better when they

give it to you? And you don't have to take it..." He rubs Poland's back to reassure him.

fights the urge to flinch at the reassuring touch. "I, like, thought I was...protecting you and junk, y'know? I-I didn't think you

loved me anymore...at that time."

stares at him a moment before slowly moving to hug him. "I was angry...but that doesn't mean I didn't love you..." He wants to say he

doesn't need protecting either, and that may have been true long ago, but recent history has made him all too aware that it isn't anymore.

returns the hug, squeezing Lithuania tightly. "I wanted it to be like the Commonwealth, y'know? Where we would, like, protect each other.

I would have, like, given you Warsaw, but you just, like, wanted Vilnius back."

finds himself somewhat disappointed. "Those were good times, but... Lenki...you've never given up Warsaw..." And you took Vilnius.

furrows his brow slightly. "We shared, like, everything back then! Everything I had was yours, and all of yours was, like, mine...right?"

closes his eyes and lets the memories from that time float up. Yes, those were good times, and they shared so much, but he can't forget why

they never went back to that. Still, he doesn't want to go poking at old wounds. "Yeah..."
