we've been paying stupidly high rates to park at hospitals ever since I can remember... undoubtedly long before that.

*if* you are going to a pre-arranged appointment you can get the parking ticket written off

you buy the ticket, you go to clinic and if it doesn't run over, you can show your ticket and appt letter to a car park member of staff

*if* you can find them, to get refunded

*if* the clinic goes over, which it always does, you have to remember to get the clinic to get someone official to say so on the letter and

to stamp it
