if you simply listen to it instead of watching it, its really quite funny and enjoyable.
that way you get the jokes and funny stuff without all the gayness of leonard.
ah!1 uu hahaha ginawa ko yung sa mga later episodes hahaha
yea so now i play the eps minimized. and now i actually enjoy big bang.
hahaha!
let me try..
interesting trick...
...and I thought you created a mini-LHC
well, so im a bigot, who cares. not everyone's as tolerant in gayness as you, kyan. but i prefer to do it *my* way...
and besides, the comedy really aint that top notch anyway. i get the geeky references of course, but..
i get far more laughs in tim allen's home improvement.
Teloyblade, sounds like God is telling you to make a fan edit.
nah, first of all, i dont like it that much to actually work for a project. secondly, my problem with bigbang is... the comedy is not
most of the jokes are referrence gags, and most if not all of them derives funnies from the geek's absurd & ridiculous reactions instead of
I'm curious what you would consider complex comedy. Not a Big Bang Theory fan myself but I thought the guys did a pretty good job
considering the materials they were dealing with.
using complex plots. the episode's plots are so far pretty basic. well, unlike latter eps of southpark.
Ahh yeah. How about the schroedinger's cat episode? That was pretty South Park-y (Ok, I'll be honest, that's the only ep. I've seen)
lol you dont know us Huo. your meaning of the word complex might not match with ours
Try me.
i beg to differ, that ep isnt really that complex. altho i must say that ep is pretty funny and its supposed to be memorable...
its the season ender afterall.
Oh, I didn't realize that. I just thought it was a random episode.
the plot is pretty linear, no satire, no metaphor... main gist is a simple rebound action between leonard and penny. but i found this ep
particularly funny coz i get the mandarin jokes, coz i speak a little mandarin myself.
Yeah. It's sad because I was under the impression that was the average for most of the series.
lol of course i respect your opinion. and i agree it is a good show, pero yeah i have to say i like home improvement better
couple of reasons, plot the formulas, and well most of all, the show home improvement is geared towrds primarily on family& 2nd,masculinity.
lol someone got offended easily, never said the show wasnt great nor good. i just have some reservations, those of which i previously posted
a show's being great or good depends on each and every person's own preference.
btw about leonard, yep he's spineless without a doubt. but the way he talks, the way his face contours on certain occasions, i must say
its preeeetttyy gay for me..
lol pulling the gay card is not justified? how can it not be when thats how i feel? id rather take the jokes, the fun stuff and eliminate
the gayness.. thus making my bigbang experience a lot more pleasurable.
anyway home improvement may be a mediocre show for you, but it has won numerable awards and nominations, and it does make me laugh more..
but needless to say i respect your preferences
you think its not fair? lol irrelevant. im voicing my feelings about his character, not stating a fact.
anyway, what i believe to be complex comedy is something along the lines of latter seasons of southpark and on the top of my head,
the movie "Stranger than Fiction"
oh btw, the only thing that keeps Leonard from being gay is his torpe feelings for Penny.. and i wont be surprised if when the writers
got bored of that pairing, they'll make Leonard gay.
well thats my point.. yung plot is boring. for me at least. and the way to deliver jokes aint that complex either.
formula is -> normal situation + absurd geek reaction + geek reference and (usually a "too much info"joke) =
penny's O_o moment and audience's ridicule of the whole thing.
