taking a stroll on the street and happens to see Latvia. He walks over and smiles, "Latvia! What a coincidence, how are you?"

pauses upon seeing Finland, "H-Hello F-Finland. I'm d-d-doing well. H-How are you?"

"That's good! I'm well, thank you," he beams cheerfully. "How are the rest?"

looks a little confused, "The r-r-rest?"

"Estonia and Lithuania?" He tilts his head, he thought they kept in touch since they were so close.

shrugs, "I h-haven't s-s-seen them in a while. W-We don't t-t-talk m-much." Had never been close with the other Baltics.

thought they were close just like he was with the other Nordics. "A-Ah, well, how has the year been for you? Have you thought of a New Year_

resolution yet?" He'd thought of a really good one this year, and he was excited for the coming of the new year.

looked to the ground, a little nervous, "The y-year has b-b-been fine, I s-suppose. I d-d-do have a r-resolution, though."

smiles, "Were you on your way to a New Years' party?"

shakes his head, "I was at the b-b-bar with G-Germany and Ch-China... G-Going home..."

surprised by his company, but nods in answer. "Ah, you must be tired! I shouldn't keep you any longer then?"

nods, "Yeah. It was n-n-nice s-seeing you, though."

him a warm hug and smiles, "Happy New Year! I hope it's a good year ahead for you and everyone!"

tentatively hugs back, "You t-t-too."

"Bye now! Have a safe trip home!" He waves goodbye and hums as he makes his own way back.
