curled up on a love seat with Blackie, taking a well deserved nap.
decides to walk up and knock on the door, if only to offer greetings for the New Year.
sits up, yawning, feeling groggy. "Ich komme.." He mumbled, shuffling past Aster and Berlitz along the way.
hears a muffled response from behind the door, so she waits patiently. Her visit was a little sudden, perhaps it wasn't such a good idea?
quickly unlocks the door, he doesn't want to keep his visitor waiting long, after all. "F-frankreich?"
startled and quickly greets him with a "Bonjour!" No matter how many times she saw the counterparts, she could never get over how creepily_
similar they were to the ones she knew. "A-Allemagne? I'm Marianne Bonnefoy, or France, if you prefer."
blinks rapidly. "Ah.. N-nice to meet you Marianne, I'm Germany, but you can call just call me Ludwig." Looking past Marianne, Ludwig_
mentally smacked himself for not inviting her in sooner. "Um, w-would you like to come in, it looks cold out there.."
nods and smiles, "If you don't mind?" She liked Ludwig's manners. He knew how to treat a lady well, unlike that England.
smiles back. "Not at all." Ludwig steps to the side, welcoming Marianne into his humble abode. "Could I get you anything? Tea? Coffee?"
takes off her coat and hangs it on her arm. "Ah, coffee would be nice, merci." She smiles at him for being so courteous and looks around_
nods, heading off to the kitchen. Marianne was quite nice, not to mention attractive. She was still France after all, or at least his_
counterpart. Ludwig needs to be careful, but Marianne is still a lady, and needs to be treated with respect.
hesitates for a while before following. He didn't say where she could go and she was mindful that this was someone else's house. "Your house
very neat," she tells him.
blinks, looking back at Marianne. "Thank you?" He says, hoping that was a compliment. Prussia teases him enough about it, he certainly_
didn't need it from someone else. Turning on the machine, after putting in all the essential ingredients for das coffee machine, Ludwig_
turned, leaning against the kitchen counter.
certainly meant it as a compliment, he kept house even better than she did. "Ah, I almost forgot. Happy New Year!" She smiles and offers a_
bottle of wine as a gift. That was the reason she'd dropped by after all.
blinking rapidly, Ludwig accepts the bottle. "Ah.." Ludwig begins, turning red. "I-I'm sorry, I don't have anything to give you in return."
shakes her head. "It's alright! It's just a little gift. I'm the one who dropped by so suddenly after all."
"Yes, well.." Ludwig adverts his eyes. "I still feel rude by not having something to give to in return."
"You couldn't have gotten anything prepared with so little notice. As the guest, I should thank you for your hospitality~"
nods, going silent. Turning back to das coffee machine after he hears a soft 'ding'. Quickly pouring two cups, for both he and Marianne.-
"Here." Ludwig said, handing Marianne a cup.
nods and thanks him for it, blowing at the hot liquid before taking a sip. A hot drink was always best after walking in the cold.
sets his cup down on the counter, looking for a place for the wine bottle, knocking the cup over in the process. "Scheisse!"
tries not to giggle at his clumsiness and looks for a rag to clean up instead. She sets the cup right again and starts wiping up the spill.
"Are you alright, Allemagne?"
"I-I'm fine, F-frankreich." Ludwig attempts to pick up the fallen shards, failing miserably.
"Non! Don't pick those up with your bare hands, do you have some gloves?" She pulls his hands away from the shards and examines them.
"U-under the -s-sink.."He stutters, visibly showing his embarrassment via turning rose red.
checks his hands for cuts thorougly before letting go. "Good, you're not hurt," she sighs in relief before retrieving the gloves under the_
sink. She then picks up the shards slowly and carefully.
stares at the ground, mumbling a quiet, "Da-danke sehn, Marianne.."
(Sorry if my reply was too late, I had to alter between cooking/serving and checking Plurk. Dx)
(D'aww, it's alright. I'm multi-tasking as well. x3)
smiles at him, "It's alright, you should be more careful though. Luckily you weren't hurt this time." She finishes clearing up the shards.
shyly smiles back. "R-right..."Ludwig clears his throat. "Let's, erm, go sit down then, shall we?"
nods and picks up her cup of coffee, ready to follow him.
leds Marianne back to the cozy living room, settling himself on the couch.
