like how you can be with a person for two years and in hte end realzie you never really knew them at all

i found out my new friends circle has links to my ex's and my ex knows some of my friends so i was sharing the connections

all he would said is "ah"

i dryly said "further proof of how small the island is"

and he pointed out that he knows how small it is he was born here.. like i would forget that

not sure how what i said could be interpreted as an insul

at least i know now that what i actually want in a partner is possible and i dont have to deal with such numbness

that's how you often learn what you want, by finding what you don't want.
