It isn't until he goes to leave to buy more beer the next day that Prussia finds the little box... blinks at it... then pinks it up...

shakes it curiously... then opens it cautiously, peeking with one eye.

the contents of the box are secured quite well in tissue paper, Wy having figured he'd do something silly like trying to shake the box. On

top of the wrapping is a blank envelope.

Stares at the contents thoughtfully for a few long moments... then grabs the envelope and opens it carefully.

inside of the envelope is a well written letter on a very nice piece of stationary. It simply reads; 'Now you can't say that no one has

given you anything this nice before' with Wy's signature at the bottom.

blinks and stares. "What the hell?" Peers into the paper curiously now. "What did you do, you little brat?" Starts pulling the paper out.

wrapped securely in the paper is a small ceramic figure, something that could easily fit in the palm of Prussia's hand, sculpted in

the shape of a baby chick.

Blinks. Then blinks again. AND NO THOSE ARE NOT TEARS IN HIS EYES. "... fuck, the brat knows me well, huh?" Smirks and holds the chick

carefully. "I'll have to be nicer to her..." Grins.
