just saw on the news thatt the protests turned to riotts...isn't really helpful if we want feess to stay low
Ah I haven't seen any news for today just on my way back from Lancaster. Sucks that some ruin it for the rest.
Bunch of people stormed the conservatove headquarters...i know how to get our point across lets look like a punch of morons incapable of
civil discussion that should go down well...
according to the BBC One of the protesters who got on to the roof was Manchester student Emily Parks. She said she had no regrets.
The people at Tory HQ were a *tiny* proportion of the people that went.
oh yeah i know but the tiny proportion ruined it for the majority the protest would have been much more effective if that hadn't of happened
the only thing anyone is going to remember about today is the fact that tory HQ was stormed by a minority not that the majority of students
aimed to be peaceful and get their point across in a civilised way
I know.
it's so pathetic
Have the government actually ever listened to protestors?
One person tried to smash a window with a banana, that says a lot.
Thanks ape like morons for cocking up any chance of coming to an arrangement, talk about burning bridges.
so right jonny...there isn't any chane of a good conclusion for students no
I think the violence and the fact that people got hurt ruined the event for a small group of people. I was there and most people were just
crowding and chanting and many were angry when things started being thrown. As someone I know said, it's only "uncivil" when the government
doesn't want people to do it. I though it put a good point across about how angry the country is, especially with the lib dems.
