So there are two phone companies in my life. One of them is the one I am currently using. They offer low prices and that was the reason

why I chose them in the first place. Now I am looking to change my subscription to also include mobile internet.

My current phone company has a deal where I get 6 m-bit speed each month until I've downloaded 2 GB information.

After that my uplink speed plummets down to 64k-bit which (for those who are clueless) is like going back to 1997 years model of phone-modem

There is another company that I called just to see if they could make me a better offer. they offer a slightly more expensive solution it

would appear at first. The difference is that I'll get to call up half the sum I pay each month, interment speed is just 1 m-bit but on the

other hand there is no limit to how much info I can download each month. If I pay another 30 sek (roughly € 3) speed gets boosted to 3 m-bit

The salesperson at phone company no: 2 was awesome. Very informative and did everything right. Instead of doing all the talking from the

start he began by listening to me telling him about all my problems and needs. When he talked he sounded very sure of him self and confident

I was 100% sure that I would switch phone company when I had hung up last night and I told him so. I just wanted to check with my current

phone company to make sure they couldn't give me a better deal (I figured I owed them that much). So I call them today and this girl answers

mind you I have nothing against girls. But this one was very inconsiderate. It didn't matter that I've been a client of theirs for years

she still couldn't give me a good discount on anything. While the guy had been able to provide me with a good answer to every single

of my questions this girl could hardly tell me her own name. She told me I was welcome to log on their website and read up on the info.

Here is the problem. Apparently I have a time of commitment that doesn't run out until 22 sep 2011.

And I look at the service I just got from that sorry excuse for a saleswoman and compare it with the wonderful service I got from the guy

last night, and even though it was slightly more expensive I just feel that those are the guys I want to spend my money on *sighs*

This is why I hate having to sign an agreement of commitment. I think it would be so much better if we didn't have to.

it would stimulate more competition and we would get better service in general.

thats why i have a no-contract service. You might pay more, but you can leave the buggers anytime you wish
