...is very confused. Everyone has lost their mind.
thinks that Cana-American there looks suspicious. 'Do you know anything about a gnome, huh?'
...is just Canada. No costume this year. But he will play along. "No...?"
((I thought you mentioned being America? ))
looks him over, eyes glinting. 'I'm sorry but I can't take your word for it sir, I'm going to have to take you in for questioning.' He pulls
out his cuffs, ready to make an arrest.
takes a step back. "E-Eh?" He is really thinking he's a police officer?
grabs his wrist, cuffing it. 'There is no use trying to get away sir, I now believe you have something to do with the crime and will not_
rest until I have you in *my* jail cell.'
inwardly panics. But he feels he can escape if it gets bad. "U-um, okay."
grins brightly! His first arrest =w=. 'Brill, now if you'd just walk with me to the station we can get to questioning you.'
frowns slightly to himself, but walks. This is not funny.
's plurker is finding it hilarious >w>' 'Now, what were you doing on the um..' he rattles off the date of when the gnome was missing.
blinks. "I was eating dinner with you."
blinks.... 'Eh?' That's the first time anyone has come out with that. He rubs the back of his neck, red in the cheeks. 'i'd remember having_
dinner with someone like you.'
looks over at Will. "I...You forgot?" he asks, looking hurt. "This isn't funny any more."
frowns, looking confused and worried. He uncuffs him, bye bye first arrest. 'Look, you obviously didn't take the gnome, sorry for the bother
sir.' He stands there awkwardly, feeling like he's done something wrong... which he might have done. Wouldn't surprise him.'
gently rubs at his wrist. "You're not completely-- sir, are you really all that busy with your case?"
gives him an odd look. 'It is of the upmost importance sir, we Australian's take gnome napping very seriously.' That's a big, fat no.
says, meekly, gently pulling at the tips of his own hair. "I would like to be escorted somewhere, sir."
jumps at the opportunity to help a citizen, even if they're not Australian. 'I'd be more than happy to help sir! Where do you need to go?'
replies, "I don't know the area well and I'm a bit hungry."
blinks, 'Oh of course. If you just go round the corner sir you'll find a cafe sir, good food and cheap!' A beat, 'I can walk you there!'
smiles lightly, "Thanks." If it gets to a certain point, Matthew will try to convince Will to stay with him. He does not want Will to get
nods, 'Anything for a troubled tourist!' He starts walking in the direction of the cafe, which is directly around the corner. 'Jen's is_
where all the guys from this beat go.'
follows behind him. He pushed his hands inside his pockets, glancing around.
stops infront of it, 'Here we go umm...' There is a pause as he ruffles the back of his head, 'Sorry, what's your name?'
stops as well, hand moving up to lightly tug at his own hair tips again. "Matthew."
... wonders if his hair hurts? 'Ooh, I'm Officer Taylor. Nice to meet you Matthew.'
asks, "I'm supposed to call you that, sir?"
.... looks around, 'Well, if you ever see me outside of my uniform... I guess you can call me William.'
raises his eyebrows, only then to turn away slightly with his hands on his elbows. "Oh..." he says with a frown.
... panics. He waves his hands, 'I guess since I tried to arrest you, you can call me Will though!'
decides if he is going to keep this up. He then turns to him with a rather hurt expression. "I've been looking for you ever since you
disappeared! Did you not want to marry me? Is that what it was?"
... ... ... William's soul currently can't be reached, please try again later. I repeat...
Well, that did not work. "Will, you're not a real police officer. Take that stuff off. You can get in trouble!"
... looks perturbed, 'Of course I'm a real officer! What are you doing?'
shakes his head. "No you're not. You're a country. You drink underage."
shakes his head, 'It's against the law to drink underage! I could of lost any opportunity of being a police officer!'
...facepalms. "You're being silly."
isn't. He looks terribly upset at these accusations,
'I'm sorry sir but I think I'll have to leave you here.' He leaves at that, feeling a small tug in his chest.
looks upset, himself, feeling like he has been denied. "Fine."
leaves him there. He did his job as a police officer and he didn't need someone questioning his credibility.
