We have seen more going to Twitter - it's not quite as enveloping, I hear!

the never-ending need to deal with Karma keeps people engaged and using Plurk more in the short-term (trying to reach nirvana)

but in the long-term it becomes more of an annoyance, and may eventually turn people away

so i think the karma "gimmick" may be short sighted

yeah I agree Adam, karma really has more downsides than up. It benefits the Plurk evangelists, but they will be using Plurk a lot anyway
