perhaps what he did was not exactly right/ideal. but if you were him, trapped in that situation, what would you have done?
I see him as someone who's very 上进 and he wont be happy to stay and give up such a rare chance and something he likes so I guess he's happy.
it's not such a bad thing after all, ne. : )
