I know I can be that, so that has automatic apology generation. The thing is, in this case, I'm really lucky and not expressing that well.
I had the chance to be bought up seeing various animals are they are in the wild. So I love LOLcats and stuff but there's a difference.
how various animals are* I don't tend to anthropomorphize all the time.
Beautiful birds, amazing and a blessing to see fly. I'd love one to be a visitor, but the thing is they aren't mine. They never will be.
They can't be pets, they can't be made to be "ours", they are themselves and it would be a great world if we could just watch and feel.
Not everything has to be ours or be made cute or understandable. Its just what they are.
this does not sound supercilious - it sounds reflective and wise.
