Yesss, I am! Plz plz!

Okay, not sure if I want to write a post or just reply here... in short, it is working out fine for the most part and daycare is on board!

They are like "We love these!" so... YAY! We have BumGenius AIOs and they do take FOR-EV-ER to dry like everyone said they would.

but they fit Wesley and it really is very liberating realizing I probably won't have to buy disposables again.

We haven't switched to cloth wipes yet, so it is annoying to have to throw away wipes when you are not throwing the diaper away, but

I don't want to BUY cloth wipes, they are a freaking FLANNEL SQUARE (or terrycloth square) and I am not paying money for someone to cut and

sew a freaking square for me, so I need to buy the fabric to make my own, and then we will be TOTES ECO FRIENDLY WOO

HAHAHA, my sisters say "totes" and spell it "toats"!! But yayayay, I'm so glad it's working out!! I really like the idea of doing

this myself one day, whenever we get around to kidz.

yes! I heartily recommend it, even if you start with 'sposies and switch later like we did. it's nice to just need to do laundry vs run to

the store for emergency diapers!

I love it. What sort of sucks is that when I mentioned it to Chaz a while back he was all like "well then you will be the one to

do all the diapers" because he didn't like the idea. It sort of hurt my feelings a bit. But he's one of those ppl that just grew up with

the average mentality of the way everything "should" be done, that it just takes him a while to get used to new ideas. I know one thing for

sure though... I will need a MUCH BETTER set of washer/dryer ... ok probably just a different house entirely so the dryer doesn't have

to BE OUTSIDE UGH... otherwise I'd get too fed up with doing laundry. It's such a pain right now. But yes... pro-cloth WOO!

(oh and the dryer isn't actually outside, it's in the garage... which still sucks, blah)

LOL ours is in the basement AND we have to pay for it in quarters! Chaz's response is funny to me, like cloth is a huge pain to do. If you

end up going with AIOs, they are JUST like disposables except you don't throw them away. No folding, no extra steps. Just velcro them on.

Other methods might have an extra step or two but it's not like they're HARD, haha. Like pocket diapers, you stuff in the insert after you

take them out of the dryer and then they work like disposables. Easy-peasy. Cloth diapers have come SUCH a long way, seriously.

So... hopefully he will come around.

That's awesome! I think he might be for it after I explain the benefits better... also it's obvious that having a kid changes your mind

-set, so I'm hoping he'll be like gung-ho about doing whatever it takes that would be best for the kid.
