i was thinking about comparing decartes' views on religion and science with the question of "do you need god to explain the universe?"

but im not sure how to go about it

Well, in his time it probably ws necessary to belive in god because sicence was fully developed as it is today.

Well, maybe you should prove the need for a noodley appendage to create everything

i just wrote it and my conclusion is that because of modern science there is no longer a need to explain the universe with a god
