(Pirate) Natalia groaned, setting down the umpteenth sword today. Sure, she was still somewhat of a deckhand. And yes, she did tell one of-
the higher ups that she was great with a sword.
Polishing almost every last one wasn't really what she had in mind, though.
Picking up another one, she considered taking her hair down from the hat it was stuffed up in. Normally, she would have said yes; but what
but what if someone walked in on her? How would she explain? It was too risky, she decided, starting to polish the sword currently at hand.
Commander Vash Zwingli had been a little bored honestly. There wasn’t a whole lot to do on the ship unfortunately. And all that classical
music was grating on his nerves. He walked to the armory to get a sword to practice with. That should cure his boredom.
Natalia stopped polishing, setting the rag down and listening. Footsteps? Ugh, it was probably one of the higher ups, come to collect her
for another boring chore. No matter, near anything would be better than polishing deadly weapons alone in a dark room.
Vash opened the door quickly, boredum gnawing at his patience. He was surprised to see one of the new recruits polishing a sword. "What are
"One of the higher ups told me to polish the swords, sir," She muttered, setting down the sword and kicking the rag to the side.
"I see.... can you fight?" Maybe this recruit had some skill. He could use some practice. If by practice he meant destroying the opponent.
"A little, sir," She lied through her teeth. She had practiced with a sword before; though knives were really more of her thing.
"Good. Get a practice sword." He grabbed a nearby wooden sword. This should be... interesting.
"Okay, sir," She nodded, nabbing a practice sword of her own. After getting a fee for it, she looked at Vash. "I assume you want a practice
fight, sir?" She questioned, adjusting her hat.
"Of course." Vash shifted into a defensive stance. "Go ahead. Attack."
