automotive design in a scenario based way
Learning about parallel circuits..the kids took over the class, directed each other, and made a 58 bulb and 24 battery circuit.
I sat and watched in amazement.
my last unit when I taught 2nd grade. We were studying ladybugs in science. They did own research and decided how they wanted to show what
they learned. They came up with great creative ideas!
Students formed an 'advice panel' and answered questions/letters from other students. My role was minimal once we started. Student centred
my 11th graders did a whole trial for Of Mice and Men - defense, prosecution, jury, judge, witnesses...they even dressed their parts
My favorite class every year is the discussion we have for "What's a hero?"
Again, I have many questions. I hope some of you will let me interview you.
