While subjectively we like them, it does not change the fact that the things we like can be objectively bad.
Michael Bays Transformers, Star
Trek, Titanic, The Star Wars Prequels;
subjectively, people love them, but are
they good movies objectively, absolutely not. They are horrible.
if you were going somewhere with that, is all. XD;
I just think having an subjective opinion on things vs the facts, to be interesting. *shrugs*
oh, well, yeah, but most intelligent people would agree with you, I think?
You don't need to be intelligent to judge a film by separating your feelings from it. Anyone with a college degree can still be an idiot.
perhaps intelligent isn't the word, then.
regardless, it's hardly novel to point out that one can like a movie and still acknowledge its flaws simultaneously.
I would not think lightly on the human mind. You'd be surprised of what eccentric and complicated people you'll encounter.
Anyone who say "your mind is like a computer" should not be a teacher...as far as I'm concerned.
they are, though. There are so many automatic processes operating in the human mind...
But of course you can't do it simultaneously, but that dose not mean you can't do both.
Sorry, did not catch your "simultaneously" word. For some odd reason lol
going to say. You certainly *can* do it simultaneously. XD
*lol* I'm sure they can. Though I tend to watch a film first then introspect on it.
I've always been like that.
wouldn't recommend introspecting on a film while in the middle of watching it, no.
