i start at the left and view new posts, then i read all that screenful, and answer and mute any that i am not coming back to.

then i go back and view all posts again.

then i view new responses and read that brings up the next screenful.

if you keep on going like that you will eventually get to where there are no new posts.

there will be new plurks happening right along too though, so you just update them as a part of the whole process.

but keep working from left to right, one screen at a time.

sometimes. there is a 'my plurks' tab at bottom of timeline, so you can check just yours and a 'responded' tab as well
