suggests he eat some chocolate instead. She is not joking and not even specifying brands. Sweet things should make him feel better.
that chocolate over chocolate seems like a good idea. And since sleepiness is clouding his thoughts, he asks whether she would like to join-
him for some hot chocolate.
might or might not be slightly amused by the invitation but agrees to it nonetheless; some hot chocolate sounds nice right about now.
turns around to go and get some hot chocolate, before turning back around to look at Eva. He wonders where to find good hot chocolate.
tell him there are some nice shops around here though she did not want to admit to having been somewhere where they treat belgian and -
- swiss chocolate somewhat equally. But still, it is for the sake of hot chocolate so it is for a good cause.
isn't really in the mood to argue. If he tried, it would just come out as 'hn'. He nods, yawns, and asks her to lead the way.
understands that, henche why she does not make a fuss. She does lead the way, occasionally looking back to see if he is still following.
following, rubbing his eyes and what not. He asks around where this shop is and whether they have Swiss -- Or Belgian chocolate there.
notices that he really does seem quite tired so she will refrain from poking fun at him for now. She informs him that they serve both types.
brightens up at that, looking a little less sleepy. He follows her until they reach the shop. He takes her hand and runs into the shop.
arches an eyebrow at that but appreciates it more than having a gun pointed to her face, so she lets herself be dragged along. Ah, for the
really likes and needs hot chocolate. He (almost) bounces up to the counter, only sluggish because of tiredness. He orders a Swiss hot choco
-late in the largest size and gestures at Eva for her order.
(Bbl in around eight hours ;u
leans against the counter and almost snorts, absent-mindedly wondering if her own order -a large hot chocolate, she says, yes, but /Belgian/
- was not obvious enough. Clearly he must be quite tired.
nods as Eva gives her order and looks for a place to sit. He was sleepy and wanted to sit, so he choses the nearest table.
just sort of follows him, vaguely wondering why she is here in the first place but oh well. She wonders why Vash didn't sleep any longer.
it's because he was arguing on about a new design for a watch. Silly, but he also takes pride in things besides chocolate.
knows this; it might a point of argument between the two, but it would not be the only thing of interest. She thinks he should rest more,-
yawns and decides that he does need more rest. Maybe he'll sleep a bit earlier tonight. He takes one hot chocolate as it arrives, not-
noticing that it's the wrong one.
that is a good idea. As for the chocolate, she is distracted and only actually notices when she is about to take a sip. Which she doesn't,
though she keeps the glass close just in case, and instead pretends that her nose is itchy, so she takes the chance to scratch it. >u>;
takes a sip and feels the chocolate burn his tongue. That and it was sweet. It was good, but somehow different... His brain couldn't-
figure out what was wrong yet, though.
nearly chokes on air at the lack of protest but manages to keep her poker face. However, this makes her realize that she will have to force-
herself to drink Swiss chocolate... Oh well, all for the sake of watching this. She takes a sip and... Well, it's not bad, really.
takes a swig of the drink in an attempt to wake himself up. When he does wake up, he notes that this isn't Swiss chocolate. Oh dear.
to take a sip to cover up that cheshire grin. She manages to calm down enough to shoot him a mock inquisitive look. "Is everything alright?"
stares at her then at the glass, "This," He raises the glass, "Is Belgian." He waves it around and takes another sip. "And it's..Not bad."
nearly spits out her drink and gives him the stupidest, most surprised look ever. Is he drunk or high or something...? "Are you serious?"
can assure him that, if he is, she won't ever let him live down this moment. Ever.
nods and swallows, "Yes, I'm serious." he says, looking at her. He pokes her cheek in amusement. "You that surprised?"
bats his hand away, looking for all she's worth like the world just turned upside down. "Ja, ja I'm surprised! And you say it's not good..."
hums, shrugging an taking another sip. "Well," he gives a half smile, "I never really tried it before."
sort of rolls her eyes at that. She is not going to waste her own drink though - besides it is not bad; just.. Different. "You're a sutbborn
grins a bit, amusement evident in his eyes. He waves a hand, "That I am," he drawls and notices that Eva isn't too bad either.
sort of snorts at that but otherwise returns the look with a tiny smirk. "This... Isn't so bad." The chocolate, she means. Ow, ego.
smiles for a second before it melts into a smirk. "Oh? I suppose I should be honoured now." He teases.
arches an eyebrow but quickly shakes her head, taking another sip. "And what do you mean by that, mm Zwitserland?"
snorts, looking around the shop, "What I mean is that I suppose I should be honoured that you think my chocolate isn't too bad." A pause.-
snorts again, setting down the glass momentarily to offer him a small smile of sorts. "Ja. I'm sure you were."
stops looking around the shop and rests his cheek on his hand. He chuckles, "Oh, I was, I was."
repeats the motion and looks at him with a mildly amused look. "Am I supposed to *actually* believe you?"
closes his eyes and smirks, nodding. "Yes, you are," He responds jokingly.
snorts before taking another sip from the hot chocolate. "What a shame. I'm not sure I do~"
grins, taking a sip, "Oh but I'm sure that /you're/ honoured that I don't think your chocolate is bad."
"Pfft." She rolls her eyes at that, offering a knowing smile. "Nein, I'm just glad you finally realized that."
opens his eyes and snorts, a lot more awake than he was a while ago. "Obviously my chocolate is better, but yes."
shakes her head, though she is not angry. They are not at each other's throats yet, which is good. "You will think otherwise, eventually."
that will never happen. He's still calm, though. After all, it's a good morning. "As if," he responds lightly.
cann't help but to laugh a bit at that. Well, it is, indeed, a good morning; she must agree with that. "Hmm, we'll see about that, ja?"
hums and notices that they aren't fighting violently yet. Maybe this is a good thing. "You aren't too bad, I guess."
it will not get to that, really; she does not mind this casual conversation, it's sort of nice, even. Cue a laugh. "Did you think I was?"
it's nice. Quite a turn from the usual. He smirks, "Well, I didn't exactly know what to think of you."
shrugs then, tilting her head slightly. "Well, I am not a big, bad monster. You could have asked."
waves a hand, taking a swig of the hot chocolate. "I don't think I would have asked you. The arguing and all that."
nods at that taking a chance to look around the store. "Ja, well that makes sense. I would not have asked, either."
nods and puts his almost-empty glass down, "See? Exactly." He hums and breathes in, "I feel a lot more awake now. ..Thank you
-?" He says slowly. Almost questioning.
looks back at him and nods. "That's good. And you don't have to thank me." She shrugs. "I didn't really do anything, I think."
waves a hand, "Non, you suggested hot chocolate instead of coffee, so you did do something." He replies, seemingly nonchalant.
