put-off by librarians at my local branch because they always act put-upon. The ones at the inconveniently far branch are much nicer. *sigh*
Make the local librarians do what they're paid for.
my librarians are wonderful.
I used to want to be a librarian until I found out a) how low-paid they are b ) how much education you have to have AND
c) even though it's low-paid, and you have to have at least a Master's, it's *very* competitive.
