doesn't need a distraction. Nah-uh. No way. Stress? She's not stressed at all. Nope.
currently looking very irritated though, as she does more paperwork in the lounge.
comes down the stairs from her room. It had been a pretty odd week for her, felt like she had been walking around wrapped in a haze.
hoped to catch Kaoko and... just talk. Or something. Not finding her in the kitchen, she found her in the lounge looking quite pissed off.
not try to approach her without something to... er, placate her. Or something. She makes her way back to the kitchen and opens the fridge.
finds a cold can of Irish Stout that she liked. Grabbing a soda for herself, she makes her way to the lounge.
"Hi," placing the beer can on a clear spot amidst all the papers.
blinks, drawn right out of the mess of reports and Varia-related wtfassery. She looks at the beer, then at Chrome.
Oh... hey there. Been a while.
the girl the best smile she could offer, in the midst of her exhaustion and worry/anger over Kyouya and that Cavallone prick.
"Thanks for this." she reaches for the beer.
nods and takes a seat beside her, opening her cola can. "No problem. Zombie week. It was..." she shrugs.
That looks like a lot of stuff to wade through again, Kaoko-san.
chuckles. "You have no idea."
, though, that this shit is the least of her concerns right now. She takes a swig of her beer with a grimace.
Oh. Um... is there any way I can help?
You already are.
if she should tell the girl what happened.
opts to sip her beer and think more on it.
Okay. Is there any way I can help you, aside from fueling you with more beer for dealing with all this? ^^
You can probably arrange for an unfortunate accident for Dino Cavallone, maybe.
actually partly serious though.
"I'll see what I can come up with, Kaoko-san. Do you have some rope and a pair of fluffy handcuffs?" , in mock seriousness
what Dino did this time to irritate Kaoko this much.
Ahaha. If I'm thinking what I THINK you're thinking of doing, that'd be too kind.
Bastard deserves to get hurt. But... I'm just an old assassin with no backing, really.
returned to her work. The beer is helping though. And so is Chrome's company.
hasn't heard her say that about Dino before, though. And knows that if Kaoko really wanted to, she could, probably.
. And the only time that Kaoko was ever really pissed of at Cavallone was when it directly involved Kyouya.
... Kaoko-san? Did Dino do anything to Kyouya-san?
...It'd be useless to lie to you.
But... I think this is something you'd best hear from him.
Even if he still owes you an explanation about what happened to him before he was brought into the future back then, like the rest of you.
It's... his story to tell.
stares at Kaoko for a minute or so, frowning, until she sighed and fiddled with her cold cola can. "I see. Okay then" she says softly.
if Kyouya will ever tell her the whole story anyway. Even then... she still wasn't sure on how much help she would be.
, after some silence. "... need another beer?"
reaches over to lightly ruffle the girl's hair. "That'd be nice."
not being able to tell Chrome things for herself, but really: this is their issue. And Kyouya's stories to tell.
gets up to get another can of stout from the fridge and hands it to Kaoko, sighing as she plopped back down on her seat.
mutters "Men." exasperatedly as she takes a drink.
chuckles. She's heard *that* one before.
