made low-carb granola with flax seed the other night. It's not awesome. Crunchy - but not awesome. :-( Back to the drawing board!

the recipe had a ton of butter in it, I think that's what turned me off - not that I wouldn't roll myself in butter normally...

LOL, it had coconut, butter, cinnamon and splenda. If anything, it was too sweet.

I was going to suggest chopped dates, but not if it was already too sweet.

cut back on the splenda; that's why it's too sweet. Splenda is used at 1/4 to 1/2 the amount of sugar called for. Or try stevia
