The fact that I can't use trace statements or cftimer calls in my services is driving me crazy.

Monkey, why can't you add trace or timer calls to your services? You just have to dump the result to the structure that's being returned?

And, what other language allows you to add timers / traces and whatnot?

why are there cftimer and trace commands if they don't work properly? Yes, I can use getTickCount and the console log etc. but it seems

like there's a lot of built-in stuff that just doesn't work well

spoiled by AS3 debugging, probably I've never gotten the CF line debugger

oh, and this project will never be done Too many cooks involved, pushed out to August for initial alpha release now
