but therein lies the issue. Marijuana, unlike alcohol is detectable for a long time. I can see getting calls about this. Seriously.
But see if you have a script, that is going to create an "issue of fact" whether one was under the influence.
I should read the proposed language as I can foresee a major backlash from employers.
As far as I know, there is no method to detect being "high."
I am voting yes for it. Where I live it is a civil infraction of $40 anyways. When I was growing up it was a $5 infraction.
I'd say 80% insurance, 20% anti-drug/big brother...
