blinks in surprise. "You want to dance?" Didn't think she would.

nods. "Yes, I would like to. Do you mind?"

"Of course not. It has been awhile since I've danced with anyone. It would be rather smashing to do so."

smiles a small smile. "I hope you don't mind, I'm out of practice as well..."

shakes his head. "We'll look out of practice together then I suppose."

nods, and starts towards the dance floor, holding onto his sleeve.

moves so he's holding her hand instead. "I'm surprised that you know how to though."

glances away. "I wanted to learn when I was younger. It ijnterested me then..."

"I'm impressed you went and learned then." Smiles pleasantly at her.

looks back to him, and smiles. "I'm usually a very determined person. If there's something I want, then I'll find a way to have it."

"Well then. Shall I have this first dance with you Lan?" Moves back to bow at her.

nods, and takes one of his hands. "I'd be honored, Xiang."

places one of his hands on his hips and leads her along. "The pleasure is mine."

smiles to him, turning to him when they're on the dance floor.

a rather skilled dancer. He's probably gone to many balls under disguise at some point.

isn't as skilled, but she does her best to keep up. "You're very good, you know..."

"Practice makes perfect. If you wish to touch up, you may always ask. The ship has plenty of space."

nods. "I will be sure to ask one day."

seems to be enjoying himself. He seems much less formal then he was when he enlisted her.

enjoying herself, intentionally stepping a bit closer to him, smiling a small smile.

might have pulled her a bit closer anyways. Not that he'll say outright. He hasn't even paid attention to anyone around him for once.

like she should say something, so she starts to but realizes she has nothing to say.

they've been dancing for quite a bit and perhaps should take a break...

agrees. She lets out a small sigh, before looking to him.

tilts his head before leading her off and towards somewhere they can sit.

sits beside him. "Do you always treat your new crew so sweetly?" she asks, watching his expression.

taps his hand on his knee before glancing at her. "Frankly...I usually never treat them any different. You're the first."

looks a little surprised. "Am I? Is there a reason why?" she asks, resting her hands on her lap.

continues to tap his finger on his knee. Nervous tick. "I'd give you a proper answer if I knew the reason to as to why."

nods, and tries to change the subject. "Well...ahh, have you always prefered being around women?"

shrugs lightly. "I guess so. I didn't really like guys since I lived on the streets for awhile."

nods in understanding. "But you still prefer to be...intimate with men?" she asks, looking a little curious.

shrugs a little. "I'm particularly picky. I usually preferred men. But I really wasn't paying attention to genders..."

nods. "And do the people you prefer have anything in common?" She leans a little closer to him.

never thought about it so now he might be thinking about it. "Perhaps..."

him a curious look. "Ah, I'm sorry, I'm asking too much, aren't I?"

shakes head. "It is fine. I just didn't really think about these things until now

bows her head. "I'm glad I'm not a bother, then." she says.

rests his hand on hers. "You aren't a bother. I'm enjoying myself quite a lot right now."

looks at him. "Are you really...? Thank you. I am, too."

nods at you. "Mm. You dance well for being out of practice you know."

smiles, looking at her hands. "Maybe I'm not as out of practice as I lead you to believe..."

laughs a bit. "I guess you're good at deceiving people at times. Or I'm easily fooled."

smiles. "Lying becomes easier with practice." She replies.

"I think I'm too blunt to be a good liar." Laughs a little.

chuckles. "Don't worry, I'm sure you can learn how."

"I'm sure I know how. I just don't tend to lie. I'm usually not in situations where I have to."

nods. "Of course...I didn't expect a pirate to be such an honorable man"

"I'm more of a dealer then a pirate. Other then raids and smuggling. I don't do much else that would constitute a 'pirate.'"

nods. "Of course. Either way, you seem more honorable than many men I've met."

shrugs lightly. "I like to hope I'm a gentleman enough around pretty ladies." He may have added the pretty part subconsciously.

smiles at that. "Pretty ladies?" She teases.

blinks and turns away a bit. Oh, you made him blush a bit if you can see it. "Yes..pretty ladies."

chuckles. "Well, I'm sure they, as well as I, appreciate that."

going to point out that he usually doesn't suddenly use the term pretty but decides against it... "I suppose so. I generally am polite

around women though."

"That's very sweet of you." she replies, smoothing her skirt.

"Is it?" Stares back at her surprisingly obliviously. He's still rather young perhaps.

nods. "Yes. Not many have called me pretty before. Thank you."

stares at you even more. "You must be pulling my leg. I think you're rather gorgeous."
