groans, tempted to take off her shirt.

*blushes and turns around*

glares at the ceiling fan.

*thinks for a moment* "Why not go to a beach to swim and be cool?"

can't muster up the energy to do that

"Oh... is there a pool?"

shakes her head, pulling a cat off of her stomach

"Gomensai." * he sat next to her*

doesn't notice this, pulling a cat on her face to block out the sun

"Are you going to be okay?"

shrugs. "I don't know. Get a fan?"

*pulls a paper fan out of his bag and fans her*

sighs in relief. "Thank you Kiku. Can you keep that up?"

"Hai...I am not that warm."

smiles, pulling another cat on her face.

*fans* 'Does the cats help?"

shrugs. "On the face only. They're hot everywhere else."

"I can only imagine...do you not have AC?"

"No. It's broken." she motions towards the stairs where the machine is.

"Oh gomensai..."

shrugs. "It's fine. Can't get it fixed because of no money..."

*winces* "I could help you."

looks at him. "Don't give me money Kiku. I don't want charity."

"Why is it charity? Why is it not a friend helping you."

yawns. "Both are the same thing in my eyes Kiku. I still don't like it. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

"But you said you are willing to fight for me, why can I not do something for you?"

grimaces. "Fighting and money are different things. I'd rather you fight then give me money Kiku."

"But what can I do for you then?"

yawns, rubbing her eyes. "Something cold Kiku."

"Do you have ice?"

waves towards the kitchen. "I don't know."

*nods and heads to the kitchen, finding only frozen cats. He finds a towel and runs it under cold water, returning* "Move the cat."

moves the cat away, bracing herself.

*gently places the cool towel onto her forehead* "Does that help?"

sighs in relief and pushes the towel against her head. "Thhaanks Kiku."

*gently sits next to her and nods*"If I can help you, I wish to do it."

stretches her neck. "Help me with what?"

'Whatever you need..."

shrugs, yawning again. "I don't help help at the moment. I'm fine. But what do you mean?"

*sighs* "I want to do what I can to make up what I can for you fighting for me."

shrugs. "You're fine Kiku. You don't have to pay me back."

"Well, I do not understand why you are willing to fight for me so I figured I needed to pay you back.."

laughs, cutting it off with a cough. "You're fine Kiku. Don't worry."

"Can you at least explain to me why?"

silently. "Because I don't want you to get hurt for my sake." she says after a while.

"So you will fight for me?"

nods. "Very much so." she says, rolling over to stare at him.

"Is that what friends do?"

nods. "Forever and ever."

"Okay..."* gently fixes the towel for her*

sighs again.

"Are you feeling better?"

nods. "Y-Yeah. That feels really good Kiku."

"That is good." *thinks for a moment* " Greece-san, I wish to invite you to my home until the AC is fixed. You could become very ill

in this heat."

that idea. "I'll get the energy in a bit Kiku. Wait."

"Okay..."

"Rest then.."

nods, already half-asleep.

*adjusts the towel and brushed the hair from her face*
