played that game sometime ago.
thinks the game is enjoyable although by today's standards it looks like a bunch of crapped up pixels.
has to agree, but it was a quite acceptable game fifteen years ago.
is going to pretend not to notice that Hong Kong is a girl-- to be polite. It's not friendly to point it out.
isn't sure about how acceptable. After all there were some people who did censor the game. 'Zombies' just did not sound the same--
--as 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors'. Nope.
is not sure why Al would rather see purple ooze than red blood. Maybe it is because it reminded him of food.
is thankful that Canada pretends not to notice because she is ignoring it.
is not sure about that. He will believe what Canada says, after all Canada knows more about America.
sits down to watch Hong Kong play the game. "Why play this one?"
shrugs. "It seemed like a good time to play something ancient and decrepit.... want to play?"
blinks. "Ah..." He then pauses. "Um, sure."
turns off the SNES. "Let me find the other controller." She gets up and heads to her room to dig it out. She does come back short trying
--to wipe dust off the controller. She connects it to the system and hands it to Canada.
takes it, furrowing his brow a bit. He has not played anything like this in a while. He is going to die. "Thank you."
has been dying for a while. Might as well get a friend to die tragically with. "It is not a problem. Just do not shame me by living longer."
lets out one short lived and rather weak 'ha.' "Um...I can't make promises, I think.
"I suppose not. Let's get started." She will try to pick the guy just to make up for her current situation.
will let her-- to be polite, after all.
kind of knew he would. "Ready then?"
replies, "Not exactly, but I suppose there is no time better than the present."
"...Right. In the first level we have to rescue the neighbors." She starts the game. Now it was time for some we are stuck together fun.
thinks is all good and well until they actually start playing. "I dunno why they can't save themselves..."
"Because... obviously they are ignoring their impending doom in order to enjoy their last minutes alive... but the cheerleaders are --
shakes his head, not realising he is doing it. "Like cable."
keeps her gaze glued to the screen. "I am still not sure what an archaeologist is doing in an urban area..."
guesses, "Visiting family?"
"I suppose... That may be the reason for so many unsupervised babies rolling around."
is trying his best to work the controller right. "Maybe."
is following Canada's character along because she has no other choice. They can't go their separate ways. "We are still alive at least..."
bites his lips. "Now we are jinxed."
sighs. "Well we are about to go into the level with the chainsaw wielding men... they must be from Texas."
glances over at her. "Fun."
does not turn to look at him. Obviously not dying held some kind of importance to her. "Uh-huh."
is pretty sure he is not dead yet because of her. He is bad at video games, quite frankly.
is sure she is playing better because she had an audience. She certainly did not want to embarrass herself in front of anyone. "That was --
stares blankly at the screen. "I was just dead weight."
"No. You helped. You were the distraction. We'll be going to the archaeologist's work place now."
slumps over. "I'm guessing he isn't visiting family, then."
"Well it is a pyramid. I suppose there is a pyramid near some random American city? Therefore he might have been visiting family...? I am --
-not sure if it is necessary to save the family dog."
"The family dog will be quicker with attacking, I would think."
"When in fact all it does is stand around and not help. That goes to show you men's best friend can be as useless as his master." She --
narrows her eyes as evil plant makes her lose some health.
feels like giving up. "What's the point in this game, again?"
pauses the game. "To save the neighbors of course. It does seem pointless right?"
nods, not looking at her. "A bit."
sets her control on her lap. "Then there is no use in playing any more. In fact in playing any game."
( fff, I didn't get an alert. e_e )
frowns. "So I guess life in itself is pointless, really?"
[I fell asleep... with a nail file in my hand. e_e;]
sighs. "That's depressing."
shakes her head. "It may not have a point but you do not have to think about it. While it lasts try to enjoy it."
( dammit. /missed it again )
rubs his head. "Sounds like forever."
[plurk never loved you anyway. it is married to msn.]
has not been around as long as Canada and in fact is sure she will kick the bucket before him. "Not from everyone's point of view. I --
suppose I saw things change much faster than you."
looks at her for a moment. "I suppose so...You were little for a long time?"
nods once. "I did grow because of Mr. England... but I suppose xian sheng would have helped me do the same."
nods as well. "He had me grow as well..." Not to say that was a good thing.
is not sure. She did not want to remain small and yet even after growing up, or as close to that as she was, she was still basically--
