I really, really miss Ruth

I also realise I'm posting this here because no one on Plurk knows her and can tell her I even wrote something like this

but I really, really miss her

not in the same way I miss other people who have left Singapore

it's because she lives so near to me, that we could go anywhere we wanted at any time of the day

and we got so used to sneaking out way past midnight to buy snacks or eat at McDonald's or just sit on our favourite wall

we met almost every night or every day

and I took that for granted

I really wish she hadn't agreed to extend her stay in Canada

but I'm also really happy for her
