still outside, sitting on the grass, thinking.
quietly shuffles around the house, looking for his lighter again.

how Roel is feeling, but she doesn't move from her current place, hugging her knees. He said not to bother, after all...
finally finds his lighter and goes to head outside, a little surprised to find Eva still there. "...?"
sighs softly, though she doesn't notice his presence just yet.
stares at her for a moment, before stepping closer and clearing his throat. "...thought you would have left by now, zuster."
jumps, clearly not expecting him to even talk to her. She immediately turns to look up at him. "Het spijt me, broer... I didn't want to go."
doesn't step closer and just regards her with an indifferent expression. "Hn...I figured as much." *sighs, flicking out his lighter and-
-taking a puff of smoke from his pipe.* "Though...I am done with work now."
finds herself unable to look at him for too long and looks down again, hugging her knees tighter. "... Are you feeling better, at least?"
looks away as well, coughing slightly. "...ja, I'm fine. Headache's gone at least..."
nods, finding interest in that dull little patch of grass by her feet. "That's good, at least... I- I guess you want me to leave now..."
sighs and finally moves closer, bending over to see her better. "...you don't have to if you don't want to." *reaches out to touch her hair*
flinches but wills herself to relax a bit more in his presence. "I don't want to bother you, brother.."
touches at one a bit of hair, pulling but not harshly. "Hnn, its fine. I really don't mind..."
watches him curiously but doesn't make a move to pull away. ".. You sounded like you did."
shrugs, staring at the strands of hair. "...."
tilts her head slightly. "Is everything alright?"
blinks, finally looking at her completely. "Hm? Ja, s'fine."
seems a bit worried and confused. "Are you sure? You're acting a bit strange, brother..."
lets the hair slip from his fingers as he finally just sits down, taking another drag of smoke. "M'fine Eva. Just thinking is all."

shrugs again, staring off into the field of tulips. "Not much you need to be concerned with, I suppose..."

sighs, slouching slightly and still watching her with lidded eyes. "Don't be. Its not really your fault necessarily. I'm just a masochist."
frowns, but doesn't look at him. "A masochist? Why? I-is thinking about your sister something *that* bad...?"
shakes his head. "I--I didn't mean it like that." *runs a hand through his hair, huffing and not knowing how to explain*
turns to look at him, confused. "Then what? That makes no sense, broeder..."
grabs at his hair a bit, shaking it again. "J-Just I meant that thinking about you...confuses me, is all. I--I don't know. Just forget it."

scoffs and looks away as well. "Perhaps I should just go. Maybe you'll start thinking of other, healthier things."
shrugs, staying quiet.

slightly disappointed with the silence, but still makes a move to stand up. "It's getting late, anyway..."
nods now, sighing. "...I suppose it is."
looks down at him with a serious expression. "You really don't care either way, do you? You stopped caring at the mention of Spanje."
tenses up again, throwing her a dirty look. "Because I don't. care. about. him. He can be a bastard all he wants." *sneers*
glares. "And you're making me pay for that? That hurts, brother." She's completely disregarding her own actions.
