you just pick what you find interesting. And hopefully Plurk will get search so you can look for keywords. Otherwise adoption will slow.

a hide option might help some, or maybe a star function for placing priority on plurks you want to follow

4. Try not to plurk more than 30 times a day - It's annoying. Your friends will start to hate you and probably stop following your plurks.

I don't like all the "mark all as read" business. I am not in google reader. I think this is what (to me) makes twitter inherently better.

it was easier to follow new plurks on plurk. it's really difficult to follow conversations with the timeline motif.
