Maybe trying to convince people that if you buy their clothes you'll look that small?

There have been studies (suspect, IMHO) that say us fat women don't want to see other fat women modeling our clothes.

personally, I want to see what my fat ass will look like in clothes, not some stick figure!!

i saw a shop that even said the model was wearing size 2...filed under "plus size"..umm...

or.. the size 2 model is easier to find than the plus size model..

not in the US but I do think that plays into it...I know I wouldn't want my pic out looking the way I do...

Because it is still the fashion houses who run what we wear...and they think if they "size up" their designs, it'll work

If we as REGULAR sized women ganged up on these twits and said I will only buy from someone who knows how to fit a WOMAN'S figure...

They will have to changed the patterns they use...the colors...HOW something fits...or they go brokew

Lane Bryant, Avenue, Roman's...they consider a size 12 to be plus

i was just disappointed to find so many Etsy shops doing the same thing

I think I may just make my own darn dress

One of the boutique stores in my neighborhood only carries 5 sizes of women's clothing: small, medium, large, extra large and OH MY GOSH!
