sees a lot of interesting things in the sky.
if the old man is becoming senile... 'Could I have some tea?'
would blame it on Tony if that should happen. "Don't you have your bleeding own?"
pouts, 'It's not the same.'
wouldn't like being crushed by a meteor.
pokes him in the side... and core, it's hot here. ((75.F in the evening. It's killing me. ;n; ))
really wants a cup of tea :T
[Oh man its like how it was at my house yesterday xD]
sighs. "Do what you want."
would skip, if he wasn't a man. So he just wanders into the house and returns with a cup of tea. *cor
((It's 92 here right not B| 75 is nice ffff))
(( FFFFT, /FLIPS A TABLE. It's Scotland okay? I can go outside in a t-shirt at 5C and not die ;n; 75F is too hot ))
"If you didn't get it yet it probably got lost in the mail..." He was ignoring the fact that he never sent a gift in the first place.
blinks, 'What did you get him?'
trying to drop him in it... :c
"I sent you an embroidered pillow, not that you care."
takes the hat with a growl. "I can make another, if you want it that badly. But then again it seems like you don't."
"It'll take a few days if *I* make it."
snorts into his cup of tea, watching them.
isn't about to let him stay in his house for that long.
doesn't think that's his decision.
"You may visit to check on the pillow, but you're not welcome to stay in my house."
rubs his cheek, scowling.
"A valid reason for what? I told you I'd make you a bleeding pillow."
throws him back his hat. "Satisfied?"
snorts. "That's not exactly my fault." At least, he couldn't see what he had done to make him sad.
throwing a hat at someone is not very nice and could cause sadness. He sips his tea.
merely tossing it back at him, and did not mean to hurt him. He didn't exactly think whacking someone with one was nice either but no one--
nods and moves into the house, going to get his sewing kit. Truthfully he is going to try and finish it in a night.
leaves the cup on the doorstep. He knows a minefield when he sees one.
do a good job. He always takes care to be precise when he embroiders, even if he doesn't particularly like the project.
shrugs. "Who said I wasn't honest?" He sat down on the couch and prepared to start.
raised an eyebrow. "A pillow is comfortable." And, well, he didn't really answer his second question, too busy threading a needle.
nods, patting the seat next to him.
doesn't say anything, concentrating on getting the blasted pillow started.
already has the design he's going to put on it worked out in his head. He is concentrating, but he's open for conversation as well.
"Kitchen fire." he murmurs.
mumbles. "China. Firecrackers. Eh." He's a little distracted when he sews.
doesn't seem to mind him watching so closely. It is for him after all.
looks up from the work in progress-pillow. "Unicorn. And?"
"I can show you any time I suppose..." He didnt exactly change his mind... but he did kind of forget. "Why did you want to see one again...?
"Well just tell me when and I can show you I guess."
sighs. "Believe me or don't." A lot of people thought he was suspicious, apparently.
nods. "Tomorrow, then. That is fine." He was actually a little surprised he *didn't* find him suspicious.
"That's because they're almost extinct."
"It is... but there's not much to do about it outside of trying to help protect them."
nods. "It is nice to talk to someone that can actually see them." It was a *very* nice change.
"Would you like some tea?" He asked suddenly, putting down the unfinished pillow for the moment. He would offer him something to eat but--
he was sure that wasn't a good idea... He *could* make tea though.
nods, arranging his sewing so he can go back to it easily later. "How do you take it?" He asks, lingering outside the kitchen.
sighs. "Would you rather me get on your bad side?" He wasn't really trying to get on his good side... he was just trying to be hospitable.
"You're right. I'd rather make a friend than an enemy." He already has too many 'enemies'.
frowns a little. "I don't see why not but... If you would rather not be friends with me I guess I can see why." he gave a weak--
smile, continuing on the tea.
this over for a few moments then. "I suppose acquaintance would be better then?"
chuckles. "Does it really matter what you call someone?" He hands him a cup of tea.
[sorry my comp crashed xD;]
blinks. "I suppose this is true... but I don't see the point really. Outside of the fact if you see them as an enemy or not. In any case--
I don't consider you one."
nodded. "I suppose I'm just used to it."
frowns and looks down at his own tea. "Well no. But a whole bunch of other things. Fire ants... Firecrackers..."
"That's fine. I don't expect you to do anything about the others anyway, don't worry." He took a few sips of his tea.
moves back over to the pillow with his tea, careful not to spill it, and sets it down on the table as he starts to get back to embroidering.
looks up at him. "I'm sure I wouldn't say it if I hadn't meant it." he smiled before looking back down at his work, careful not to poke a
raises an eyebrow. "Yes, that would be my name." He wasn't exactly sure where this was going.
"By that other word I assume you mean friend?" He doesn't object to being called Arthur, since that *is* his name, and continues his sewing.
"If you want to, go right ahead." He still didn't understand why he didn't like the word 'friend', but he supposed it didn't matter.
gave a weak smile. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." He might have actually given him something in that case.
"Do you usually go to the parades?"
smiled. "It sounds kind of nice..." he murmured.
doesn't know what a bunad was. He wasn't sure if he should ask or not for fear of being insulting.
"What do they look like?"
that would be nice. "I suppose that would make us even then." he said in reference to the unicorn.
never thought about it that way. "My name?"
"I guess that's true..." He could care less though...
pipes up after awhile. "Is it really so bad that you know my name?" He didn't understand.
"I'm sorry, I just meant that we could be friends, and that I would rather like that."
looks at him curiously, but hands him his hand.
blinks. "Haakon?" He pronounces it a little off.
looks at him. "Am I right?"
doesn't seem to notice yet. "I'm sorry, how do you pronounce it?"
nodded, hoping he would get it right this time. He tried to repeat it like he said it. "Haakon."
repeats it under his breath a few times. "Maybe that would be best."
chuckled. "I see. Haakon of the fjords, the wise, and the fair." He hoped he said it right this time... he certainly thought he did.
smiles, noticing his embarrassment but not saying anything. "Haakon." He said again. "Nice to meet you, I am Arthur, and although I am not--
lord of the fjords, and I may not be very wise, or very fair, I hope that we can be friends. Or acquaintances whichever you prefer." He--
smiles at this, looking at him. "You sure?" he asked softly. He didn't want to pressure him into anything.
does something sudden and pulls him in for a hug. "Then friends it is."
shrugs. "I suppose not." he grins.
frowns. "Isn't it something that friends do?" Okay, maybe he *was* trying to tease the man just a bit... but it didn't hurt him in the end
shakes his head and goes back to his embroidery. "It's just a simple hug. Don't think too much into it." he smiled.
chuckles and shakes his head. "I am fine with hugging them... truthfully I just wanted to see how you would react."
[brb shower for church in the morning]
grimaces and rubs his cheek, but laughs anyway. He probably deserved that. "It didn't hurt though, right? Hugs aren't that bad." Arthur--
seemed to be having more enthusiasm than usual.
looked at him curiously. "Why don't you like to be hugged?" he asked. Norway seemed... rather stiff, and this was a slightly weird thought--
because he was called that sometimes.
blinked. "Well I suppose... but sometimes they are nice... for certain things."
"Either way, I'm sorry for hurting you." he frowned... he really hadn't meant to do that at all...
smiled. "Then maybe we'd be even."
chuckles. "That is fine." He worked in silence on the pillow for a few moments, before speaking up once more. "I... take back what I said--
earlier. You are welcome to stay in my house if you want to." he stated quietly.
shook his head. "No, it wouldn't be bothersome." he insisted. "You're welcome to stay as long as you want." he smiled.
couldn't complain. He looked over at his forgotten tea, it was probably cold by now... ah well. "I'm sure the faeries would enjoy the--
company as well. They'll like talking to someone else I'm sure."
wondering that as well... "They usually keep their distance with company. Or they found the ribbon stash again." Heavens knew he couldn't--
keep the bloody things away from them.
nods. "They go crazy after them... It's cute at first, but after awhile they don't sleep, and then you have to hide the ribbons... and..."--
he trailed off with a sigh.
"I have hidden them all though... but I'm running out of hiding places. *Hopefully* they haven't found them." he sighed. "I should--
probably put out some honey for them as well." he mentioned.
about this for awhile, pausing in his sewing. "I might do that." he stated, starting up again. "I'm sure they'd go crazy looking for them."
smiles. "Thank you. It would be a hassle to have to restart now because you don't like it... but then I probably would." he never left a--
project unsatisfied. "I'll have to give a ribbon to one of them and let you see just how wild they are with it." he stated.
