does not like how the boy never follows instructions.
asked the prefect earlier to go home and take a rest in Dino's apartment but the boy clung on to the Boss and refused to leave his side.
hated that even Dino rode on it and cuddled him more and AAAAAGGHH!!
takes a puff from his cigarette...
had to tell Dino what Hibari has been up to, 2 hours of sleep in a day, the number of cigarettes he smoked every break, the meals he missed
- and how stubborn he was on not following Romario's instructions to go home and take a rest.
can still remember how Dino looked at Hibari and how the boy burrowed his face down the Boss' chest.
would usually bring out his camera and take a picture of that, but really, Hibari has been pushing his buttons lately with his stubborn act.
grateful that Dino was firm enough to tell Hibari to take a rest. And quite nicely too, saying "Please" with those puppy eyes.
couldn't even say "No" to that himself. It's so cute.
that if Dino hadn't done that, he would have sedated the boy and brought him home.
didn't like the look on Hibari's face though, when he pulled out of that bed with that pout which he knew Dino could not resist.
had to lead Hibari out of Dino's sight before Dino starts crying "Come back--!!" or something.
if Dino would really say that.
Dino will, knowing how cheesy he has been lately.
Hibari has made Dino uncool. Where is that tough boy he threw in a lion's den to become a MAN!?
quietly taps his pen on Dino's table, waiting for Hibari to wake up from Dino's bed.
been in this apartment since that awkward exchange with Hibari this morning. It's been... 8 hours? The boy should have slept well.
peeks inside Dino's room.
blinking awake, albeit slowly. All those hours of sleep were a little shocking to his system, now that he might've grown used to 3-4 hours.
strangely... off. He struggles up, putting a hand to his aching head. He doesn't notice Romario.
enters the room with a glass of water and a tablet of painkillers. "This'll ease your headache."
"...Thanks." the hands that take the glass and the pills are shaking, although the boy's not aware of it.
I cooked hamburger steak and some roasted vegetables for you. Take a bite before we head back to Dino.
walks back to the kitchen.
takes the pills, finishes off the water and gets up. He takes things slowly, unsure of whether he can trust his own sense of balance.
makes sure to take the least amount of time needed to prepare to leave, and then heads out to eat.
the food smells delicious. ._. He tells Romario as much as he sits down.
nods his head as he looks through a newspaper's sports section. He'd rather distract himself with some football news than think of the boy.
try not to even peek out, although that noise he's making as he gobbles his food wears the old man.
when Hibari would stop acting like it's the end of the world if he's not beside Dino...
would usually find this romantic, but the boy is quite excessive... in his humble opinion...
trying to be as unobtrusive as possible, although he really can't help himself - he's hungry. ._.
a feeling that Romario-san is being... colder than usual. More stern, certainly.
he hasn't done anything to piss him off. ._. He makes sure to finish everything. Doesn't leave a spot.
sets his paper down and was pleased to see the boy finish his dinner.
smiles "I would have clobbered you if you had only eaten a morsel."
...Thank you, though, for the meal.
"Prego. If you want to take a shower, take it now before we head back to Dino."
stands up. "I took one earlier. I'll be all right."
takes his plate and glass to the sink.
washes the dishes, biding some time for the boy to relax a bit before he starts another anxious parade in front of Dino.
The week is almost over, Mr. Hibari. Would you like me to book a flight for you to Japan?
You're probably missing out on all the school activities.
Kusakabe's handling things in my stead, and nothing's really happening right now.
...I think I can afford to stay a little longer. *softly*
Mr. Hibari, don't be mistaken, but I only worry about your academic welfare. I understand that Dino is very important to you but...
... I don't want it to be a cause for your personal delinquency.
Thanks for your concern, but really: I'll be fine. If there's any time where I can afford to miss class, it's now.
grabs his coat and goes ahead to open the door. "Let's try not to catch the rush hour, Mr. Hibari. I wouldn't want to be caught in traffic."
nods and follows the man.
