I had too many add-ons installed

and the add-ons list went blank

firefox_answers on twitter said it was possible to delete the extensions folder

did that -- but it didn't work

I still had some issues

so -- I thought I would uninstall/reinstall FF

now I can't install my add-ons -- keep getting error messages

any ideas??

caburg - nethead will want to know what the error message is

usually a box pops up and says to check console log -- which is just jibberish to me - something about the extension manager? or chrome?

best to make a new profile for firefox and start clean; ez to do

always best to no delete things; better to start clean and reinstall the addons; and then copy over bookmarks/cookies

i use a copy of addons for that, but u can by hand also

no need to uninstall firefox/addons when creating a new profile

i make a new one every few months to clean up
