bites the dirty apple. 8|

slaps it out of her hand

whines, pulling her hand back. "It's gross, but it's not that bad!"

pouts. "Eat the one I got you!"

drops that one in the sand too!

brushes it off on his sleeve. "It's still good! You didn't bite it yet!"

"Aren't you afraid I'll die of *germs*?" she asks, but takes it from him and takes a bite anyways.

eats the apple happily now.

watches her, in case she drops it and tries to eat it

to do that, but thinks he'll stop her if she does.

waits.

finishes. "Can I go pick up the other apple now?"

stomps the apple into the sand more.

scowls. "Francis! You can't do that, I need to pick it up to throw it away!"

glares at her. "It's organic! It'll... become a tree or something."

pouts. "I don't want an apple tree on my beach, Francis!"

flails. "A tree won't grow in this sand!"

flails too. "I don't want an apple core there either! What will tourists think if they see it?!"

pouts. "I buried it deep enough!"

"Still! I won't eat it after you've stepped all over it, let me throw it out!"

moves his foot away from it.

picks it up before he can change his mind.

watches her. ;~~;

stares at him. "What?!"

"I'm just making sure you throw it away properly! (And to wash your hands)"

"... Do I have to wash my hands?"

stares more. "Yes. You better."

throws the apples away, and puts her hands on his face.

flails dramatically. "SEY"

beams. "What, Papa~?"

smacks her wrist gently. "no!"

pouts, pulling her hands back. "I'm an adult, you can't tell me what to do!"

frowns. "But I'm your father!"

"But I'm--" She pauses, as if she were just remembering something, then grabs his wrist and starts to tug him towards her house.

follows after her, confused. "What are you doing?!"

keeps on pulling him. "I have something to give to you!"

follows reluctantly.

stumbles into her house, looking around for something.

waits, eyebrows furrowed.

finds what she was looking for finally, and shoves a pink card at him. "I-it's probably silly, but I made you a Mother's Day card."

holds it, blinking a few times in confusion.

"I was going to send it to England just to mess with him, but I didn't want him to go all creeper on me, so I made it for you instead."

blanches. "Th... thanks. (I think)."

pouts. "You're welcome!"

smiles and ruffles her hair. "I appreciate it."

keeps on pouting. "Treasure it forever."

puts it safely away into his wallet. "Of course~" he hums.

beams. "Good!"
