i'm still giving it a whirl, but thus far all i can say is -- it's no twitter!

I'm enjoying it...but nobody seems to be udpating. P.S. I used your post yesterday as inspiration for one I wrote today.

I probably pay more attention to Plurk than to Twitter right now.

I've been offline for most of the day, so just playing catch-up now. Seems there is a Twitter/Plurk divide building?

I've been off so far today. When I got up I was inundated by a wave of replies and quietly closed my laptop and hid in the corner

the secret is to not be away for too long. It's how they keep you hooked.

at least part of the attraction is the consequence of Twitter misbehaving recently.

I think this could be an excellent forum type thing for smaller groups of people. 100 or more and I think it could become unwieldy.
