smiles back "What are you knitting, siestra?"

looks down and blushes a little bit. "A scarf."

tilts head "... I need a new one, siestra..."

bites her lip. "...I was making it for you."

smiiiiiiles "...R-really?"

nods, not looking up. "I know it won't be...the same, but..."

hugs her, careful with the scarf she's knitting

a small "eep!" then smiles a little and sort of hugs him back.

nuzzles her neck and mutters a 'thank you'

kind of really happy about this somehow. "You're welcome, Brat." She pats his back carefully.

sighs happily and leans on her

...is still happy, but kind of wondering how long this is going to last. ^^;

hugs her for a looooooong time =3=

waits awhile before asking, "Um...Ivan?"

looks up at her smiling "Da?"

awkward-smiles. "I...can't really knit like this."

...pouts "True..."

lets her go and sits by instead

goes back to knitting, occasionally glancing up.

...figures she should start a conversation. "Have you been...alright?" She knows he doesn't feel right without the scarf.

tilts head "...I'll be better."

nods and resolves to get done with the scarf as fast as possible. "W-well, you at least *seem* composed."

looks at her hands as she knits "I'll take that as a compliment..."

"It is. I...know there are some things that are very important to you."

smiles and nods "Everything will be fine..." sighs "I hope so anyway."

blinks. "I...I'm sorry. Are we still talking about the scarf...?"

laughs "Da, of course. Sorry."

frowns. "Oh, I thought something else...anyway, won't everything be fine once I finish?"

blinks, staring at her "....Yes, it will. It will...cover my..." touches his turtleneck

nods, deciding to change the subject. "Do you want another color for the fringe?"

smiles "Everything you want will be fine...."

maybe a nice pale blue would look nice at the edges.

nods "Like your eyes."

smiles softly. "Something like that. Or would you like something different?" Figured she'd make sure.

shakes head "Blue is perfect..."

nods and thinks for a moment. "I think I'm out of the color...I'll have to buy some more today."

tilts head "Do you want me to go instead?"

blinks. "Oh, no, I don't want you to go through any trouble. This is...a gift."

smiles "I don't mind..."

tilts her head. "We could go together...?"

...nods "If you want~"

finishes off a row of stitches. "I think that would be best. That way you can see if you like the color."

nods "Let's go then~"

sets her knitting down carefully on the table and goes to get her keys.

still feels the slight moments of awkwardness when Ivan is quiet. o.o

"...Oh. Thank you." ;orz "Um...we'll try the craft store first." She grabs them and goes out to the car.

spends the car trip trying to come up with topics of conversation, but eventually gets there either way. ;orz "H-have you ever been here?"

giggles, finding it cute "Ah... I don't think so. I don't know how to knit so..."

should have figured that. >//< "S-so we need to go to the place with all the yarn on the wall."

nods "Makes sense" smiles at her

looks along the wall at the various colors, then holds up two bundles of light blue yarn. "Which do you like?"

takes them both and places them in front of her eyes

giggles a little and fidgets, waiting.

smiles and chooses the one on the right

smiles a little and puts the other one back, taking two bundles and bringing them to the register.

follows here again~ "It'll look so cute...da?"

nods. "l'm glad it has your approval." She has just enough money to pay.

pats her back "Of course.." looks at the money

gets the stuff and goes to the car. "Thank you for coming with me. Sometimes these trips can be dull alone."

smiles "I do not mind, siestra, I enjoy your company."

smiles to herself. "It has been...nice today.

nods "Hasn't it?" smiles "I'm glad..."

runs a free hand over the yarn while she drives. "You picked the soft one."

smiles "That's good, da? I like soft..." also touches it

giggles a little. "It's nice. Maybe I could make some kind of pattern above the fringe."

looks up at her "Like...?"

hasn't thought about it. "Maybe something traditional...or a flower pattern."

..."sunflowers?"

"Oh! You like sunflowers, that would be nice...although, they would be blue...sunflowers."

...laughs "That's a new one" smiles

if he likes the idea anyway?

smiles and nods

pulls up to her house, wondering if she has a pattern ready somewhere for a sunflower fringe.

happily looks through the window

leads the way in. "Would you like anything to eat?"

smiles "Anything you cooked will be fine, I miss your cooking"

pokes her head into the kitchen. "I still have some cabbage Mlyntsi from lunch today, would you like that?"

nods! "sounds yummy..."

heats some up and gives him a plate, then.

noms happily~ "Thank you siestra..."

brings her knitting into the kitchen. "So, ah...I haven't asked what you've been doing since I last saw you."

tilts head, would tell her about Alfred but... "I had a problem, but it's already solved..."

nods, deciding not to press the issue. "That's good, I suppose..."

smiles "Indeed... " just doesn't want to worry her "Thank you for your concern, how about you?"

starts her next row of knitting. "I've been fine. Nothing special has happened lately."

watches her "That's good..."

smiles and shrugs "Depending on how you look at it."

smiles "When it comes to you, new things aren't good...they might hurt you."

looks up at him. "What do you mean?"

smiles "Just that...you're my sister, I want to protect you."

bites her lip. "Yes...but sometimes we need new things.

nods "...sometimes...."

waits for a moment, then goes back to her knitting. "A new scarf."

nods "That's a new thing, and it's good, da?"

nods. "At least, I hope so...it's about time for me to start adding the sunflowers."

smiles "Can I help...?"

blinks. "Oh! I...suppose so, but it's a bit difficult to teach."

giggles "But they are -sunflowers-! I want to know"

smiles a bit hesitantly. "Well...alright." She hands him the needles. "Do you know how to do a stitch?"

...stares "Nyet"

laughs awkwardly. "I suppose not." She reaches over to move the needles in a looping pattern. "Can you do that?"

tries, sticking his tongue out

giggles. "Maybe you should practice for a little while with some extra yarn."

smiles and nods, still trying

smiles. "Getting better; your stitches are tighter now. Now try to change over to the blue yarn."

frowns "..." t-tries to

makes a clicking noise with her tongue and gently takes the needles back, changing it for him.

smiles "Thank you..." stares at her hands

hands the needles back to him. "Do four stitches, then try changing back to the other color."

does for stitches...then sticks his tongue out as he tries to mimic his movements

nods as he does, just adjusting one of the needles once.

smiles back. "There, now you've helped add your own sunflowers."

would clap, but his hands are busy...so he keeps knitting
