that Taiwan will come and visit.
that's a nice idea. She'd appreciate that.
already dressed up in her nicest ao dai, and can hear people celebrating.
hasn't taken as much care into her appearance, but then again, she never does. She looks around outside at decorations and flags, smiling
wouldn't mind if she did. She doesn't need to, though.
won't confiscate them..directly, of course. It is her sister, after all.
finishing preparations, so she doesn't mind if she takes a little while.
doesn't know if anyone else will visit...perhaps they'll come later.
does think this is a valid point...however, she'd do her best to not be angry. It is a holiday.
does think this would be a problem...then he won't be allowed to come.
sure he wouldn't want to come, anyways, so she shouldn't worry.
isn't sad. She's sure that America wouldn't want to come to her celebrating the fall of Saigon, either.
doesn't think she should feel that way.
waiting outside, looking around.
eating now, looking around.
looks at her, and smiles. "Oh..you're here."
did notice, but doesn't want to say anything. She stands, placing the plate she had next to her. "Thank you for that."
nods, and looks away, fiddling with her trousers to give her a chance to take it out of her hair. "You didn't need to, you know."
looks back at her and shakes her head. "Oh...no, there isn't." She takes the gifts, smiling again. "Thank you, though."
opens the package with the plum wine, and smiles to her. "Do you want to share it..?"
looks around. "I'm not sure if anyone else would...it seems like no one else is."
nods. "Yes. I've missed seeing you." She pauses, before deciding to elaborate. "You are my sister, after all."
smiles, and reaches over to pull it out of her hair for her. "Of course."
hands her the curler. "So careless..."
shakes her head. "It's no problem. I'm sure it won't."
nods. "Of course. As long as the weather stays this nice."
smiles to her, and opens to bottle of wine. "I do hope so..."
nods. "We can do it on another day if the weather does turn bad."
nods. "Of course we will." She reaches for a glass to pour a cup of the wine for her.
nods. "It's very nice." She offers MeiLing the glass.
pours herself a glass, watching her. "You can drink, if you'd like."
smiles. "Let's toast to another year of...good fortune, I suppose."
holds out her glass, still smiling.
((I've got to head home; I'll be back in like...half an hour.))
smiles and sips, watching her.
tilts her head, lowering her glass. "Yes?"
sets down her glass, and watches her "Are you sure..?"
smiles, and looks into her glass, feeling that she made her uncomfortable.
nods. "Of course...ah..."
sips more. "The wine? It is.))
finishes her glass, and offers her more. "It's very good."
pours a bit more for her. "There you are."
pours herself a little more. No sense in putting it to waste.
this is a good idea. This last glass won't hurt, though.
finishes her glass before putting it down, wiping her lips. "You're a bit red..." she says to the other, watching her.
nods, and rests her hands on her knees, watching her closely. "Are you sure..?"
shakes her head. "No, it doesn't look bad."
shakes her head. "You shouldn't feel embarrassed. It's just me."
watches her, and nods. "A bit. Not too much."
pats her hand, smiling to her. "It's not too bad. You still look as pretty as you did before."
still smiling to her, nodding. "It's no problem."
folds her hands in her lap, lowering her eyes to the table.
blinks, and leans forward a fraction of an inch. "Yes?"
frowns a little. "Strange...how?"
shakes her head. "Ah...I wouldn't know. I don't speak to him much."
shrugs, fiddling with her skirt. "It sounds strange for him."
blinks a few times before blushing. "That's rather...sudden.."
rubs her cheek. "A-ah...I am..."
looks at her knees, but smiles.
nods. "We can probably set off the fireworks soon..."
shakes her head. "Me either. We just have to wait for it to get a bit darker outside..."
goes back to her side. "Ah, I apologize for being a badd hostess...would you like something to eat?"
smiles a bit more. "Thank you."
nods. "I did. Do you think it's good?"
smiles to her, fiddling with her skirt. "Thank you."
somewhat nervous of doing something...stupid, to be blunt.
covers her cheeks. "I..I am?"
shakes her head. "No..no, I'm not."
bites her lip, trying to hold back her grin, before mumbling, "Thank you."
shakes her head. "I have no reason to thank myself."
glances out the window. "Ah...we can set off the fireworks now..."
stands. "Come on, let's go outside."
grabs the fireworks before opening the door for her.
follows her out, smiling a bit. She's trying to hide just HOW excited she is about the fireworks. "The city square should be good..."
nods, and starts to walk quicker to the city square, which isn't very far.
