If you could have your choice of Tech item to use in the classroom, which would you pick: MacBook or iPad?

what are the pros and cons for classroom use - I do not have either right now and want to make the best choice.

i don't have an iPad, but I teach in an iMac lab - the macbooks would offer flexibility to add a windows partition for other software

Mac Book might be better because students would be able to create more with pics, vids, and sound....

I know what you mean: the kid in me says "iPad!" - the teacher in me says "MacBook."

MBP. Way more possibilities with them for now. iPad is great if you are lacking the big $$ that the MBP needs.
