anyone else using an ipad in the classroom. even though they can't log in to novell or windows - am i protecting them internet wise?

Yes, as long as they are using your network and your net is protected, they are too.

I think a lot of folks are still trying to figure out how they're going to handle them. But to me it would be like netbooks or ipods.

They have the mobile version of Safari on them, which doesn't impress me much, so I don't see them as a device for surfing. The apps on the

id pass. they are just not useful enough for the price. Ipods or netbooks would work better, for us
