Perhaps better phrased as ANY RL support network....

Awww. I used to think I had a pretty good support network. But now I'm realizing, sure, unless it's about writing.

it's good to have multiple support networks that fill different roles. So if your writer support network is online, that's okay...

RL friends can provide other benefits.

It's true, though. It's just hard for me to purge the negative sometimes because it creates conflict, and I hate conflict!

I don't mind receiving some support online but sometimes (like when I'm really frustrated or just need to cry) I would like to have an RL

friend nearby (besides DH)... my best friend just told me "I'm glad you're not knocked up, I'm tired of everyone being pregnant, blah blah"

and I tried to tell her that was, you know, kind of hurtful, and she just shrugged it off

I hear ya, Jennie. That's why I think I've been "playing writer" (as was so aptly put in the chat the other morning) for so long.
