so far so good. I'm getting around find the in macbook. I just bought an enclosure for my old HD to hopefully get the data off it

Then I'll be installing XP under Parallels and if all goes well I'll have the old and new OSs both in front of me

Beware of the Parallels - it works, but not so great... and if you are using a Mac why do you even need XP anymore ... I my Mac!

I need to test how sites look in different browser/OS combinations, but for the moment all my development tools are Windows based

Over time I'll find equivalents on the Mac side, but until I do I'm going to need to use some of the same tools I always have been using

I'm loving the Macbook though

Oh, I understand.... I just hope the Parallels work for you - I've never had much luck with it.

So far I did manage to install Windows Vista and I even managed to install programs within Vista. I'll be playing more this weekend
