i played softball for ten years, and it and baseball are some of the most boring sports to watch. right up there with golf.

to me, nothing beats the excitement of playing third base in a good softball game.

football, ultimate, hockey, RUGBY, take your pick... although it's way more fun to play than to watch, i'll give you that

playing and watching are completely different.

that is a very good point. i'm sure i'd have quite the adrenaline rush driving in a nascar race but god damn don't make me watch it, please.

oh man I LOVE watching fishing, they just show when they catch it, its like reader's digest for fish. they should do that with baseball.
