closes his laptop and looks up at her with a smile. "Tere, Katyusha! What brings you here?"
smiles. "PryvIt! I...um..." She fidgets awkwardly. "I have a question about computers."
Well, you've come to the right person! U-um, what do you need?
takes a deep breath, then speaks a mile a minute. "I wanted to protest mailorder brides so I was going to make buttons but then Matthew told
me a petition would be better and making it online would save trees and could you maybe help me please?"
takes a few moments to process all that. "A-ah, you want to make a petition? I can help you, sure!" He opens his laptop again, opening a_
new page. "Mailorder brides... that sounds terrible." He moves over to his couch so that Katyusha can sit beside him.
nods vigorously and sits next to him. "The only problem is I'm not sure who I would be petitioning *to*...exactly."
Who usually accepts these brides? I-I think you should petition to the countries that accept them, first.
frowns. "Well, America is the biggest...I hate to say 'importer,' but...yes. Him. A-and I don't really want to make him angry with me."
He doesn't seem like the type to get angry right away. I'm sure if your petition is reasonable, he'll consider it!
her a little thumbs-up. "A-And you'll have nations supporting you as well!"
smiles in relief. "You really think so?"
nods. "Yes, he can't be angry if there are others who have signed the petition as well!"
a slight hum of happiness. "Alright. Now what's next is making the petition. How does this work?"
brings up a website and shows it to her.
www.petitiononline.com/ "This is the most popular one, s-so we should probably use it."
examines the site seriously. "And you know how to use it?"
nods. "Ah, it's simple enough." He brings up a page to start a new petition. "What should we title it?"
looks at the other petition titles and thinks. "How about...'Stop the Practice of Mailorder Brides?' Oh, that doesn't sound very good..."
ponders this. "'Petition to stop the global trafficking and abuse of women through the usage of mailorder brides.' U-umm, I'm not sure..."
blinks. "...That was really good, Eduard."
blinks as well. "A-ah, really?!"
giggles. "Yes! It sounded so smart and official!"
