As a result of Hurricane Ike, the shipment of your purchase may be delayed while the seller is getting operations back up and running.
Yeah, I guess Ike did hit BROOKLYN pretty hard, didn't it?
unless they are in galveston...fuck that...and seriously, that is what an internet connection and paypal refund is for
unless they're misrepresenting their location on the listings, it's Brooklyn.
Yeah that is silly.. I would write them telling them that if they dont ship your package now then you want a refund
would it be the seller that initiated the communication? The email came from eBay customer service...
maybe it was a messaeg they sent out to everyone... I would email the sender
I didn't get that message and I recently bought something from ebay
I sent the message to the seller to ask when I could expect delivery, so I'll see what he has to say. Seems fishy to me, though.
not knowing what the item is, it's hard to say, but is it possible that the seller would be dropping shipping the item to you?
example, if someone buys a spinning wheel from my website I have the manufacturer directly drop ship it to them; i never warehouse the wheel
(the eternal optimist in me always makes excuses for other's screw-ups.)
happyneedle, I sure hope that's what's happening and it's not a scam
i was getting ready to put my first items on for sale on ebay. so glad i didn't, ike hit ohio-surprised us and we were w/o power for 5 days
