You like the idea? I'm thinking about going with a Mac Mini for the main unit to control entertainment and use it for recording and

archiving sitcoms and ripping my DVD's onto some cheap storage since it's cheap now.

I can then uTorrent stuff off the net as they get released or buy when it's possible &affordable as well as share with my family's home.

The plan is that it'll be similar 2a sat receiver with a hard disk, such as the ShowBox from ShowTime if you've heard of it?

Instead of only programs from a certain source, it picks up movies and programs and sitcoms from the Internet and grabs the nice art work

from imdb for example to show what this is if the title doesn't jog your memory.

You can alsoshare with friends via the internet a shared online drive where you allow your connection to upload episodes there when you're

not in need of the internet connection for browsing if you're sleeping or at work.. then they can also get those well categorized and

organized programs onto the same software or similar software on a machine that's connected to their TV and watch as you do at their

leisure.

Planning to have a small machine (Mac Mini) at my family's house do see how it works out.
